Why am I here?I have always wanted to travel to Central America since I was a young high schooler. I remember learning about Central America in Spanish class and being very drawn to learn more. It is still unbelievable that I am actually here & actually living in a place that I have dreamt about visiting for so long.
I am here to become better at speaking Spanish, experience the beautiful, rich culture and to focus my time on becoming more aware of the social issues that are present here and around the world. I am not here to make a big change or to save anyone or the world. You can't make a change until you integrate yourself with the people, the culture and the community. So for now, I am just walking along with these communities and soaking up the experiences.
